iPhone 15 production begun by Apple on trial basis in China

According to reports, Apple has begun testing production of the iPhone 15 in China and plans to quicken the pace of manufacturing in India as well. This shows that the iPhone 15’s release is on schedule and that it will probably be announced in the third quarter of 2023, perhaps in September.

For the iPhone 15 series, Apple has started the New Product Introduction procedure in China. In order to give Apple enough time to determine how the production process will work once the design is finished, the procedure typically takes place in the first quarter of each year.

Foxconn is set for the Next Level of Smartphone Technology with the iPhone 15

Every year, Foxconn produces a significant portion of Apple’s iPhones. Foxconn has reportedly started the trial manufacturing of the iPhone 15 series of mobile phones, according to a report in China.

According to the research, this is an important phase since it allows for any issues between supply chain participants to be resolved before the real production process begins.

Additionally, this comprises streamlining the procedure, checking new equipment, and examining the quality testing procedure.

Get Ready for the Latest iPhone 15: Production Starts Soon to India!

Apple’s aims for expanding to diversify away from China have included India prominently. According to the report, Apple wants to narrow the time difference between Chinese and Indian production schedules.

Currently, the iPhone is produced six to nine months before India. This year, the gap is expected to narrow as Apple begins collaborating with local partners to source components. Foxconn, Wistron, and Pegatron currently provide most of the domestic supply as well as exports, but Apple aims to move 5% of iPhone manufacture to India.

As Indian businesses like the Tata Group enter the iPhone manufacturing market, the manufacturing footprint will expand. Vedanta intends to produce iPhones for Apple as well.

iPhone 15 Dynamic Island Rumours

Even though the iPhone 15 hasn’t yet been announced, early rumours indicate Apple may introduce the Dynamic Island to the entry-level models this year, while the Pro models will include the 3nm Apple A17 Bionic. The adoption of the universal USB-C port by the European Commission will go into force at the beginning of next year, thus this is likely to be the biggest change.
